Microsoft Silverlight Web Site

Microsoft’s www.silverlight.net web site was put together very quickly under a tight deadline. When I later joined the administration team of the Silverlight web site I was given a simple directive: fix this broken web site. Knowing that a complete redesign was not an option, I presented a series of recommendations to improve the existing site in an incremental fashion. You may review my recommendations in the Advancing-Silverlight.zip file.

The recommendations were approved and many of them were implemented in an updated version of the Silverlight site runnings on my Titan application. This version of the Silverlight site may not be rolled out until well in to 2008, so what you see today at www.silverlight.net is not my design and is not running on my Titan application. Still, the process of analysing the site, proposing an updated design, and undertaking that design was successfully completed.
